Liquid Real Assets
December 6, 2022 - 11:00 amWith inflation rampant and entrenched, index-linked cashflows are an increasingly desirable investment attribute. This, along with diversification attributes make property and infrastructure investments very attractive.
But, real assets oft-times bring illiquidity risk. Not all investors’ systems can cope with that, and others may prefer not to ‘lock up’. In these circumstances, liquid REITs and Infrastructure provide a possible solution. Further, at a time where these investments have reduced in value as rates rise, present valuations may make for an entry point worthy of considerations.
In this Panel we welcome Stephen Hayes of First Sentier to explore Global REITS and Emily Foshag of Principal Asset Management, Liquid infrastructure.
Our panellists come from various channels and it will be intriguing to hear their insight on why they invest in liquid real assets as part of their or their clients’ strategies. They are Ryan Boothroyd, Portfolio Manager at Border to Coast pool, Oli Creasey, Head of Property Research at Quilter Cheviot and Andrew Jacobson, Partner and Head of Real Assets Research at LCP.
